What does natural, raw and authentic really mean?

No doubt, you’ve seen the words somewhere on this website describing WorkCabin Creative’s conservation and outdoors videography style as real, raw, authentic and natural. But what the heck does that really mean?

Well, you could read this previous blog post about Being Real Is Better Than Perfect, or you could watch this video by WorkCabin Creative conservation videographer Gregg McLachlan and hear a real story about why filming in nature is not about everything being perfect in your videos.

Here’s another example (below) of capturing unscripted, unchoreographed dialogue and moments and using them for conservation storytelling. This short WorkCabin Creative film for Forest School was targeted at parents who might be considering outdoor education for their children. This film was crafted to create an emotional reaction in viewers that will lead them to further explore enrolling kids in Forest School.
