Single editorial use in one single project
You need this licence if you want to use clips for TV/Broadcast, Film Festivals, VOD, Out of Home, Theatrical, Video Games, or any project that is intended to generate revenue by a third party (ie. a film festival charging admission, for a TV episode where the TV station sells spots for commercials, etc). This license is a “single application” license and not a “multi-use” license, which means that you can’t use the Item to create more than one unique End Product.

What file formats and resolutions are available?

It varies so please ask. Some clips are raw file and most clips are available in 1080HD and 4k.

Are clips Royalty Free?

No. All of our clips are Rights Managed. This means they are licensed on a per project basis. You can choose all of the applicable criteria for your video or film and license exactly which clips you need.

What types of licenses are available?

I will help you determine which licensing fits your needs: From small business web promos, to TV programs and major motion pictures, film festivals, to paid advertising for large campaigns spanning TV, Web, and external media. If you don’t see a use that you need, please ask.

What's the difference between Editorial clips and Commercial clips?

Editorial clips can only be used for non-commercial, non-business related projects such as non-profit educational purposes, news outlets or blogs. These clips are typically missing the required releases for commercial use. Editorial use means the main purpose is not to generate revenue, unlike commercial use which is generally aimed at generating revenue

Do you offer a Non-Profit discount?

For my footage, rights are managed based on how they relate to intended uses of clips. I can help you navigate this so that we have the correct licensing.
