Filming new multi-part series for Birds Canada
WorkCabin Creative has started video work on a multi-part series for Birds Canada, Canada’s national bird conservation organization.
Video work will be done over numerous days in autumn 2020 in a variety of landscapes with biologists from Birds Canada. The videos are part of a large storytelling video series launching in 2021 that aims to connect everyday citizens to efforts to help bird conservation across Canada. Production of the series will be done in late 2020.
“Canada is a vast country with so many different landscapes and we’re capturing ways that Canadians, no matter where they live, can be part of the effort to help our birds every day of the year,” explained WorkCabin Creative conservation filmmaker Gregg McLachlan. “It’s exciting to be working on another conservation video project that will end up being seen nationally and used across the country for conservation education.”
Birds Canada is a non-profit, charitable organization built on the enthusiastic contributions of thousands of caring members and volunteer Citizen Scientists.
Its mission is to conserve wild birds through sound science, on-the-ground actions, innovative partnerships, public engagement, and science-based advocacy.
